We will be showing the Bottlehead Tube Repro and Tape Project tapes in the TAD room, Venetian 34-208 and the Magico room, Venetian 35-207.Tape Project tapes will also be playing in United Home Audio's room, Venetian 30-308, On A Higher Note's room, Venetian 29-217 and April Music's room, Venetian 29-312 and 29-316.
Paul has made sampler reels for the exhibitors with some of their favorite tracks, including some not yet released Series Two tracks. As a special treat we will be demoing 1/2" two track tapes on a modified Otari MTR-20 with a custom Flux Magnetics extended response playback head and Bottlehead Tube Repro preamp in the Magico room. This rig was tested during staging for the show at Magico last week on the new Magico Q speakers and Paul's comment was along the lines of "f.....g awesome".
The TAD room will have Andrew Jones' RS1500 that we modified for him with the tape path mod and Flux Magnetics extended response playback head, playing through a Tube Repro.
