Technics 1500 IR remote
« on: May 10, 2010, 11:36:02 AM »
Hi everyone,
Here the link and photos of  the remote control, in my case, for Technics 1500 (4 channels - Play, Stop, Rev and FF)
http://www.anykits.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=462

Everything works very well. The only set beck is the following: HT12D decoder chip powers up with all outputs in "0", another words all relays are "Up"  before the first command is sent from the remote. Not sure how Technics will react if FF, REV, Play and Stop and engaged simultaneously, probably Stop will be executed. Anyways to resolve I've wired relay the way that STOP has priority (see attached picture).
BTW, receiver board is small enough to install it inside 1500, that require taking IR sensor off-board and drilling a window  for it somewhere...
HTH,
Alex
