What's going to be on the dub test tapes?  If there's still time to make a suggestion I'd like to see a bunch (plenty, some, enough) tones from 30 to 100Hz to try to tease out the LF bump response.

I have to say that making dedicated test tapes sounds like the best way. I have to admit that I don't know "spit" about the technical issues involved but, as long as the alignment of those 4 ATR100s isn't something that would make the other 1/2 track tapes that some of us already have, sound bad, it seems like the perfectionist way to me!
