For Well Heeled Beatle Fan
« on: June 01, 2011, 10:06:33 PM »
Just noticed this auction.
It's pretty freakin' expensive but for someone with the dough,.. getting all these in one flip of the wallet might be worth it.

That's pushing $200 per tape at his Buy it Now price!
Over $150 per @ the starting price.

I think we're talking about "Beatle Fans" as opposed to tape enthusiasts.
In which case, we're talking peanuts here. I've seen rock/pop tapes (7.5 ips 1/4 track) sell for twice as much as he's asking for the lot (and I mean twice as much for one tape!).

Great, I am not a Beatles fan.    I am an ABBA and Jane Morgan fan.
Hyok (Tony) Kim,  yes, this is my real name.

Btw.  How do you know it's my real name?  Just because I say so?

Well I am a Beatles Fan and audionut. And 7 12 ips is important to me. So guess what commands the highest prices for most tapes - the 7 12 ips versions, especially in the Rock catagory since so many can be found duped at 3 3/4s . Now it's not uncommon to see Beatles tapes at the higher speed with Buy-It-Now at $150.00 or higher. Well I have been watching a boatload of tapes and have snagged Let It Be for $56.00 shipped. Three times my usual threshold but a deal in the world of 7 1/2 ips Beatles tapes.
