Even though this was introduced at the 2009 AES Convention, it's news to me (I think?).
Anyway,.. it's an interesting interface between digital workstations and analog tape.

I'm not sure I've gotten my tiny head around how you could record different instruments at different speeds (unless it's as a single track), but I think that the notion of vintage processors being designed to be recorded to tape makes lots of sense.
