Is this the end?

Well, no... it is only the last means (hopefully) to the ultimate end ... reproduction of fine music...

Thanks to Doc B for feeding my disease that has no cure but... only periodic remedies? this time a Studer C37.  Ready for TLC and rebuild.

Thanks for buying up all the decks that I find, so that I don't! Unfortunately the focus of my latest passion is not going to take up any less space - 1940s Hammond Model E concert organ and two D-20 speaker cabinets.

Hey DocB:

You are welcome and glad to help out in getting rid of the fine master recorders from all of your contacts.

It seems your new "hobby" will take a lot more space than the one I have...  It will never fly with my wife.

We have reclaimed a fair bit of space in our house since we moved the business out. Eileen has an eastward facing meditation room on our enclosed porch. The old lab has returned in part to a reloading bench for Colin and my shooting hobby. Kate has set up a sewing area in the old packing and shipping room (she aspires to become a fashion designer) and even though I am a dismal musician I am putting together a bit of a music room where the old office was, with the idea of luring more of my musician friends to come visit. I don't think the room will fill up with a big pile of old organs. But I'm pretty sure I need a third speaker cabinet, a Leslie 31H - it's only the size of a refrigerator...
