Technics 1500 Meter lights and Direct out
« on: March 17, 2015, 09:46:29 AM »
Hello, new to the Tape Project but but been around the BH forum for some time.

I'm applying the tape path update to a 1500 and need to replace a meter lamp and establish some direct outs while I have the machine on the bench.

I was considering a set up where the 4T position on the switch would be my direct outs and the 2T would utilize the existing built-in repro.  Is this a good approach?  What is the easiest way to apply this mod?

Also, what is the easiest way to get to the meters?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Why not wire from the headblock so both ¼ & ½ track heads use your external tape head amp? Also the Tape Project tapes are ½ track.
