Otari mx5050 newbie

Hello, I am going to buy a Otari B2 probably on eBay. Question - for playing tape project or prerecorded tapes how do I connect tape player to my tube amp. My tube amp has only two input options. Rca jacks for line in with or without the Preamp. Is it as simple as connecting output from R2R directly to amp bypassing the preamp? I am sure there might be complications, pls help. Thanks

Go to http://www.theanalogdept.com/manuals.htm to download a manual for your deck. In section 2.5.2 Signal Connections you will find wiring diagrams. Use the appropriate Unbalanced configuration. Mine use the Unbalanced 2 Conductor setup , which works well.
