Anybody here demagnetize their machines?
I've actually never done this to my 1500 and I heard some say it is not required.
I'm trying to find out if demagnetizers are still available.
Thanks

I have an RB Annis Han D Mag that I picked up at US Recording Media. Excellent source for reel to reel supplies and support gear. Don't forget to check out the FAQ and Tips page. It's a really great place to start finding out how to tape care of your tapes and deck.

At the top of the General forum is a sticky containing numerous links to resources and info about tape and players.
