Tape Project Selective Sub
« on: December 04, 2008, 03:04:09 AM »
Hello,

I have signed for selective subscription 2 days ago, and I haven't specified which tapes I wanted because there is no form to do it on.
The subscription is under the name Mario Dolinar.

A shifty looking man will knock on your door in dark coat around 12 pm
asking for the information late friday night under a full moon.
If you can't wait for the next full moon, email works great to contact them
with the information, but give them a few days to deal with the paper work
first.

We are starting a three week long "catch up" production run tomorrow. During this run your albums from TP-001 through TP-008 should be duped and shipped to you. TP-009 and TP-010 will be duped for all subscribers after this catch up run and they will probably be shipping in January and possibly into February.

The only reason you got lucky with the music, you did not have to wait like the most of us a good long time, for new blank tape to be shipped to the studio.

Everybody has luck ... like today a got a extra banana for pay this week.
It how you look at it, luck often works both ways. Now when Cold January
hits, all I need is bottle wine for a nice meal, and I can play my new tapes.

There is a catchup run going on today. Eileen tells me that Romo has the current list of what is shipping down at the studio. She will have a status update early next week.

We are currently looking for a new facility here in Washington, into which we would move the entire Bottlehead operation and the packing and shipping operation of the Tape Project. When this happens the processing and control of shipping will be centralized and we hope to see the lead times for tapes come down quite a bit.
