« on: June 01, 2010, 03:54:02 PM »
A friend just forwarded the following link:

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/msg/1767614224.html

I hope it's a J37...

Steve - this could be your first Studer!

Good luck,

Didn't anybody in the Bay area check it out?

A person in NJ told me - he had run across stack of Studer A810s in console configuration in NYC dumpster belong to CBS earlier this year.  He picked up only 7 that he had space for in his pick up truck and left the rest...  He did manage to remove the casters from the remaining Studers...probably the last things I would have taken if I was him...

I swang by there on my way home from work on the day the post showed up here. There was nothing at all on the sidewalk. If I had seen the Craigslist listing the day THAT came out, then maybe I would have had a chance.

I was within blocks of that location on a delivery route about when the Craigslist post was supposed to have been posted. Unfortunately, I probably could not have accommodated it in the truck and didn't hear about it till it showed up on this forum as well. Wonder how many minutes it was there?
