Opening a Treasure

Today was the day I opened my NEW STILL SEALED Tape of Bill Evans. WOW!!! what a treasure. On the Verve label at 7 1/2 ips can not wait to hear it.

Hello Jay,

Is this a TP tape or from some other source? I was under the impression that all TP tapes are recorded at 15ips. If from some other source, would you mind sharing where you obtained it from. I would appreciate. I had no idea something like that was available, especially brand new. Thanks much.

Hi Bob,
No it is not a TP tape, I got it from ebay in an auction. Once in a while you will run across unplayed or still sealed tapes there. You have to watch it daily for the most part until you see one you like.
