Capitol Audio Fest Rockville MD/D.C Suburb

It seems as though you guys on the west coast and the big cities get all the fun.

However in two weekends the upstarts in the Mid Atlantic Region right up the road from D.C. in Rockville MD will have our own Hi Fi event with a concert sure to please.

Lyn Stanley will perform Saturday 7:00 PM at the show free of charge.  With two well received albums under her belt she seems to have the goods in terms of voice, stage presence and production values for her recordings.  No riding the gain control for this lady.  She even likes and records mainly in analog on tape!

You have Jacqui we have Lyn.

Still modest by the likes of Axpona, and other more established shows, Capitol Audio Fest has fewer big badge companies however the interest, enthusiasm and congeniality of the attendees make the experience quite enjoyable.

If you are in the area, consider stopping by.

I have no finacial interest in the show, VPI or the Ms. Stanley's concert.

One more thing VPI is going to introduce their new table the Avenger at the show.  A skeletal HRX based minimalist plinth able to accomodate three arms of any manufacturer and length.

Very cool looking.  Nothing like you have ever seen from VPI.

Don't forget Greg Beron's UHA reel-to-reel display and his after hours listening sessions. Guaranteed to have some great music!

Right you are Myles.  Thanks for correcting my oversight.
Greg will also have the Lyn Stanley RTR Potions tape available for play if someone makes a request to hear it.

Yes people did come in and ask to hear it, Lyn even sang along with the tape.
She sold the tape at the show I believe.
