I just saw Mavis with Jeff Tweety (from Wilco) on The Corbert Report of all places. The song they did " You Are Not Alone" was wonderful and quite a departure from the Staple Singers releases. I guess the new album was recorded at Wilco's studio (The Loft) and produced by Tweedy.
Really nice stuff.
