Not sure what this means yet. I have not had any dealings with AheadTek and so don't know anything about them but they are in the Bay Area so some folks on here may know of them.

Hey, that's 10 minutes from my house.
Maybe I should go by and say hello,..
I can see it now,
"Do you need some parts?"
"Nope"
"Do you have an Otari?"
"Nope, but I know some guys that do!"
"So you must be looking for a job?"
"I guess I should be but, nope."
They're also about 5 minutes for MRL.

Well I can see that, R2R's is not exactly the same sales volume as
today's latest music media player. Still I think it is better to have a few
knowing people out there, than whole lot sales people who know
a whole lot of nothing. Ben.

As far as I know AheadTek has been handling new Otari sales (which I imagine could be handled by one guy, one day a year) for several months now. I think the new thing here is that they are taking over the parts and service aspect as well. It's a smart move for them, if they want to make any money that's the part of the Otari tape machine business they will need to have.
