I know several of us here have been listening to hi rez downloads from several of the online sites. I received an email warning from HD Tracks yesterday about a possible breach of their servers. It seems likely that their credit card info was stolen and I believe I was one of the victims of this cyber theft. I got a phone call from my credit card provider about some suspicious charges and they did turn out to be fraudulent. I was able to cancel my card and begin an investigation within 24 hours. I've now been reimbursed by visa (it was about 20% of all the money I have so I gotta admit I was sweating it a little).
So, if you have credit card info on file with HD Tracks, it would be a good idea to check the charges made in the last 30 days or so. The fraudulent charges on my card were made in the UK on 10/05 but others have had them made from all parts of the world (one was even made to Tiffany's in NY, that couldn't have been cheap!).
I have to admit that I was a little upset when I found out that the theft may have been through HD Tracks. On further thought (and the aid of a few brewski's) I now realize that they are also victims and have more to loose than any of their customers. After all, if a hacker has some real talent, there's nothing that someone in the private sector can do (or afford to do) to stop them.
I'll continue to use HD Tracks but I will be sure that I'm a little more careful how I make those purchases from now on.

Reel bummer.
Glad you got it sorted out before there were more major problems. Thanks for the heads up Steve.
See you Saturday?

Look like the same thing happened to me! Larry

Yeah, I figured it must be pretty wide spread.
I think that even if there haven't been any unauthorized charges on your card yet, I'd consider canceling that one and getting a new number issued. I seriously doubt that if they were able to get any of the credit card info, they'd stop before they had them all. And while I'm not saying that I'm positive that the numbers came from HD Tracks, it's highly probable that they did.
But, on another note,..
I'll be there with bells on Romo!
