Title: Bottlehead tape preamps - do they preserve or invert absolute phase?

Doc, spent a bit of time searching the forum and some of your literature but couldn't find this "spec" mentioned.

They maintain absolute polarity. There may be a couple of early Tube Repros out there that invert absolute polarity at the XLR output.
