Any one know if they are still in business? Their web-site has been down for awhile.

I haven't seen a post from Jay on the Ampex list of any changes that MRL is going through (of course, that doesn't mean that I didn't miss one). I doubt that it would ever really close since there's no overhead to speak of so it's probably just an internet thing.
BTW How long is "a while".

Just got an email from MRL yesterday and a wow and flutter calibration tape two weeks ago - they are always very fast answering. Are you using the correct mail address    [email protected]    ?

Just got a reply from Jay:

Our ISP seems to be goofed up right now: You should find it at
http://mrltapes.com , but it is out right, with a "try again later"
message. Sorry -- I'll bug them tomorrow if they still don't have it
fixed then. Thanks for the note.

Business is still good for them from what I've learned.
