Title: Can anyone tell me what model
Post by: richardlhowa on December 25, 2012, 02:27:09 PM
Teac Reel to Reel would have been available at an army base BX in Vietnam in late 1967?  I am looking to recreatre my dads stereo system he brought home and my memory is really fuzzy on the reel to reel he had (as is his)?  Any suggestions as to where to look at which models would have been available at that time?

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the forum.
Take a look at the pictures at this tape machine site. Even though there were lots of variations of Teac machines, the basic models usually sold for a number of years.

Alot of Teac A4010s decks were sold in PX's at that time.
