Title: Barclay Crocker Alert
Post by: ceved on October 12, 2008, 03:45:45 PM
There is a large lot  (96, count em)  BC titles that just went up on EBAY.
Hefty opening bid, but heh it probably will hold value better than your 401K!
If you don't have a lot of the titles offered you may be able to work a deal.

Stange, I can't seem to find it.
I pass up BC tapes since a) I don't have a external decoder
b) Ebay is now switched over to PAYPAL only
c) I want to eat this month.

FOOTNOTE: Found the link under tape trail -  audio ayslum
$4,500 is about 3x what I would pay for the lot.
PS: Tape trail also has message about 68 mint BC's too.

A lot of 94 BC tapes is ending in about 15 hours, for $3,500.
Still no bids yet.

Hi CV, I think my tape  collection might be worth more than my 401k! Ever since the "cooling" of the US economy, I've been afraid to check where it's at ( I got a statement from the quarter that ended in Sept. and I lost about $7k).
Still, $35-$45 a pop is pretty nuts. What ever happened to "economy of scale"?

Umm How about 10 cents on the dollar then.
What have you for sale, I can roll my pennies for you. :)
How do you lose $7 K on tape?
