Pardon my ignorance, as I am not a techie.
I have owned a Tandberg 3000X reel to reel deck since 1972 and started using it again recently to play some of my tapes. There is distortion on some of the tapes (maybe all). I installed a new drive belt, but there still is some distortion. What, other than such belt, can cause this? Thanks.
