Hey Rich,

I'll be there!  Tell Mr. Stellavox that Mr. Nagra from San Antonio will be there.  Can't wait to get together with you guys.

Hey Ironbut,

Jesse Anderson here your statement couldn't be more wrong, the news reported this week that out of the small countries of the EU that Holland and Austria are the strongest financially.  You know what they say about the dutch  "God created the world but the dutch made Holland.  LOL

Tape Project Albums - general / Re: Jimmy Smith Tape

Jesse here in San Antonio.  Normally I don't chime in.  I agree with Ironbutt & Mithamo nothing beats live music recordings especially jazz.  Any one here going to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF)?  This is will be my second year to attend .  I'll be seeing Charlie King there and my darn Stellavox is acting up again.  LOL Here are a couple of photos of me recording the Jazz Ensemble at Trinity University.

Reel to Reel Tape Machines / Re: Nagra IV JS
« on: March 04, 2011, 09:52:11 PM »
Jesse here in San Antonio. The machine the Nagra IV JS will work.  I believe the difference between that and a IV S was used for instrumentation and logging.  The IVS was designed for stereo motion picture/music recording.  But if you are only going to use it for playback it will be a great machine.  I use the IVS for music recording and it has the wider track heads and pre-amps.  I believe you can hook the JS to a mixing board and record that way.  I attached a couple of my pictures.  If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected].

Sincerely,
Jesse
