All of you that received albums in plain white boxes, your replacement boxes are all here, all have had the spine labels added and they look good. We are not exactly allowed to re-open, but it looks like that will come soon. All of you will get your boxes.
We appreciate your patience. Enjoy the tapes in the meantime, and stay safe and healthy.

Reel to Reel Tape Machines / Re: How you can convert your Revox B77 or PR99 into a Tape Project machine.
« Last post by Thomas on April 17, 2020, 04:13:08 PM »Hello everybody,
I hope you are safe and your families as well
I am an analog music fanatic Living in Germany (although I am French) crazy about Hard Bop
I just ordered my first Tape Project tape, I have a B77HS 2T IEC (320nwb at the Moment) and my dream is to bypass the OnBoard pre-amp to improve my Sound Quality/my pleasure ;-)
I have tried to find Arian's amazing article but the link does not work anymore, I would really like to read it... Would Arian or another member of the Group be willing to share it again?
Any other advice for me to enjoy Tape Project tapes on my machine is very welcome! My intention is to get a tube pre amp from Dan/Bottlehead as an external "head" pre amp ;-)
Many thanks in advance and stay healthy and home with great music!
Cheers
Thomas

Tape Project Albums - general / Re: Update
« Last post by High and Outside on April 06, 2020, 02:04:49 PM »We have the boxes in our possession.
But we're still on lockdown. There's no way to put a firm date on it, but as soon as we are able to return to work we will be getting everyone's replacement boxes sent. Then we'll be adding more of our existing catalog into inventory, and eventually releasing new titles. You'll hear about all of it here, and we'll send an occasional email newsletter as well.

Tape Project Albums - general / Covid-19 update
« Last post by High and Outside on March 23, 2020, 12:35:52 PM »Everyone in the state of California is now required to stay home. We are honoring this, so production and shipping are on hold.
The shipment of new boxes is on its way to us. Assuming that the ports are working when the ship arrives, and assuming the lockdown is eased so that we can receive the order and start shipping the replacement boxes to customers, we anticipate they will be going out in the middle of April.
I'll post updates as things develop. Stay safe, everyone.

Hooker 'n' Heat / Re: Hooker 'n' Heat First Impressions
« Last post by tapepath on March 22, 2020, 08:00:10 AM »Hello,
I just listened to reel no.1 of this performance and my wife and I are completely amazed at how terrific this tape sounds. The air between your speakers just disappears and becomes the original place where this music happened! Congratulations to the Tape Project team and thanks for making this possible! Now to listen to tape no.2.
