Hello everybody,
I'm a new member and I want to ask if somebody saved the pictures of erasehead's topic?
Thank you.

Hello Will,

Thanks to Alan (Waltzingbear) who saved the pics during many years ! This is the pics:

Hi all !

I have M15 machine to restore at my lab now.

This is some pics:

The most complicated is the cabstan motor and cabstan shaft refurbishement, widding motors ball bearings replacement...Takes hourS.

As usual, i changed all caps, all bearings, belt, heads, and make audio and mecanical adjustments (brake, tape tension).

I too, was wondering if anyone saved the photos or videos which the original poster shared with us.

"Us" is a little presumptive, since I joined about 5 minutes ago for the purpose of asking...but still.
I have a C37 in lovely condition...a Telefunken M5c stereo, purring like a kitten...and am looking for
a multitrack in the long run, to join the family.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, I did't have too many pictures left regarding this maintenance (HD crash). Take a look here:

You are indeed a "risk taker" and I believe that's what it takes to do what you have accomplished here. It's difficult for me to imagine putting 100 plus hours into this particular reel to reel. Can you suggest why you chose this machine? Thank you for sharing this labor of love.

Bob W.

Hi All !

I did this job for one of my relative. My favorite tubes machine is the TELEFUNKEN M10, not the C37...
