Miles In Milan video

Many of the "long time" members here already know I'm a huge Miles Davis fan and I've spent many hours glued to my monitor watching short b&w Youtubes of his early quartets and quintets.
You may also know that I'm a big fan of the "Jazz on the Tube" site where they've gathered and cross referenced classic jazz films that can be found on Youtube.

Well, if you're as big a fan as I am, and just can't get enough, here's a video of Miles with the group that he made many of his great mid 60's recordings (starting with "7 Steps to Heaven" IIRC). Tony Williams, Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter (all so young it's almost humorous).

Miles starts out a little rough but really gets going during "My Funny Valentine" (can I throw in another plug for getting "Cookin' With,.." on Prestige!).
This was recorded for Italian TV in '64 and is the complete (2 hours worth) video.
Oh yeah, some keyboard guy named Oscar Peterson is on the last 20 minutes or so. He's pretty good too.

Good afternoon Steve,

You're not the only Miles Davis lover. I started buying his LP's many years ago and have most of the music he made to include those with that early group. What was Tony Williams, 17 y/o? I think Wayne Shorter was in his 20's? All were very young with Miles being the grand daddy. Thanks for your advid searching for this kind of stuff. I am many others do appreciate your efforts friend.
