Some Pop/Rock please
« on: September 24, 2007, 09:37:22 PM »
While I enjoy classical and Jazz, the music I grew up listening to is mostly of the pop/rock variety.  I hope a sizeable number of pop/rock recordings will be offered on tape as part of this project.  Here are a few suggestions: Rickie Lee Jones (any of her first 3 albums, but especially Girl At Her Volcano which is great sounding on LP), Supertramp-Brother Where You Bound, Dire Straits-Dire Straits, The Beatles-Abbey Road, Billy Joel-52nd Street, Kate Bush-The Kick Inside, James Taylor-Dad Loves His Work and The White Stripes (Elephant and Icky Thump were recorded on analog tape as I suspect all their albums were).
