Nice article on Location recorders
« on: August 05, 2008, 09:57:56 AM »
Once again, proving to be my most avid fan, I'll reply to my reply in the Tape Tech forum and hopefully seed the discussions of some vintage (or not so vintage) machines here. In that post, I admitted my admiration (and continuing  lust) for those beautiful Nagras and Stellavoxes. Here's a link to, what appears to be, a pretty good article on the breed (I haven't read it all yet).

Hi Steve:

Good info link.  Thanks.

After hording various Studers, I thought I would be done when I can get the Studer A820... now...it won't be done until I can own a Nagra IV-S....

It never ends.
