cleaning pinch roller

Can anyone suggest the proper cleaning of pinch rollers?  The pair on my Teac X-10Mk II seem to work fine but I do notice some crazing on the surface and they seem pliable enough...  thanks, Randy

If they are working perfectly, then I would leave them alone.  Sometimes "cleaning" them can actually cause problems.  The most common PR defect is when the rubber breaks down (oxidizes) and no amount of cleaning will reverse that process.
