Yes, there are many kind people in this forum. Also there are other Studer A807 owners who will respond.
Currently, I am in different side of the world from my A807s and will check for their firmware versions when I get home. I had not backed up the A807s yet - spending most of my efforts on A820 and A810.
The other question is the firmware intellectual properties. Although Studer no longer manufactures A807s, I believe the IP still belongs to them. On the other hand, I am not 100% sure if it still applies to your case where you are not looking for commercial gain from the software but just trying to replace damaged chips you already own.
