Studer A807 Firmware

Hello !

I managed to damage my A807 MK II 20/92 eprom by missplacing it in my programmer...you should not work late...

Is there some kind soul out there that would have this as a binary file ?

Hi Kim:

Yes, there are many kind people in this forum.  Also there are other Studer A807 owners who will respond.
Currently, I am in different side of the world from my A807s and will check for their firmware versions when I get home.  I had not backed up the A807s yet - spending most of my efforts on A820 and A810.

The other question is the firmware intellectual properties.  Although Studer no longer manufactures A807s, I believe the IP still belongs to them.  On the other hand, I am not 100% sure if it still applies to your case where you are not looking for commercial gain from the software but just trying to replace damaged chips you already own.

It would be good discussion points on an other thread.

The problem is now solved, I got the firmware binary file from a kind soul in France.

Glad to hear that you were able to locate the bin files.  Sorry the files I had didn't work out for you.
If you would like to send the copies to me, I would archive them with the rest of the Studer BIN files for the next Studer enthusiast who needs them desperately...

Thanks to Kim, I have archived the latest Studer A807 Mk II firmware 20/92 in BIN file for the future Studerheads.
If we can come up with the two files for the A807 Mk I 10/89 version, it would be nice...
