If I'm not mistaken, Aerial Boundaries and Taproot were mastered onto 30 ips.  Just a thought.

the liner notes for some of the Windham hill vinyl stated recording details and i know that at least 1 or 2 of Bill Ackerman's were done on 2 track 30ips. my vinyl is still all boxed up (along with nearly everything else audio) or i'd check out AB myself. great album.

on a side note, i remember looking at the back of an album - i think that it was the soundtrack to The Sting - and seeing David M with a 3440 and being amused that i was sitting beside mine at the time.
