A little world music would be nice; also an audiophile fave!

Hello,
Excellent suggestion! I would love to hear a TP version of that recording. Good idea.

Maybe not. I just pulled my vinyl out and the original recording was done at Egrem Studios, Havana. Embargo?  Maybe that bassackward policy will work in our favor? Mastering was done by Bernie Grundman so maybe Paul could ask him at AES.

Could have been multi tracked to tape (Otari fans will like this) and mixed down with Pro Tools. The article isn't specific other than the two days working on the machine.

Funny thing about this is, I was eaves dropping on a Mexican radio station today and I heard that Ry Cooder was going to be in San Jose the last weekend this month with a singer he collaborated with on Chavez Ravine. Her name is Ersi Arvizu. I haven't seen him since the "Get Rhythm" tour when he warmed up for the Dead at Laguna Seca.  That was one crazy weekend!
