Guys
Anyone out there have any tips for changing the bearings in the reverse idler ? Mine have the ocassional squeek.
A drop of turbine oil took care of the problem for now, but Im thinking I should go on and just replace both bearings.
It appears that they are pressed in, not a tight fit though, they should be easy to push out.
Im thinking replace with an ABEC7, it looks like the original bearings were standard bearings.
I allready replaced the tension arm bearings with ABEC5's the originals were toast.
Also going to replace all the zillions of electrolytics, any suggestions? Im thinking going Panasonic or Nichicon not sure of the type, thinking lower resistance types.
