Mic transformers and passive Mid-Side encoder
« on: December 06, 2012, 10:12:36 PM »
Ever wonder how to record in Mid-Side with the mic pres inside your reel-to-reel recorder. It's tough. Mixers and most Mid-Side encoders are operating at Line-level signals.

I'd like to hear suggestions. I have only one. A passive Mid-Side encoder.

I'm working on one: The Dovetail by Glen Glenn Audio
