Online manuals

In helping a new member with a question regarding a Teac 3340s, I found a great source for online manuals. There doesn't seem to be any limitations other than registering with the site. On a quick glance, it looks like all the Revox service/user manuals are there but the Technic's RS series only has the user manuals which is nice to have. The price is hard to argue with!

All Revox and Studer Manuals are available from Studer on their FTP site:

Please respect their Copyright (which they retain) as having such an online source is really a major godsend!  Studer is to be much praised for providing this!  If only all manufacturers would do this!  I would fear disrespect of their copyright might encourage their removal of this site, which would be a sad thing.  The site is a little slow, so what do you want for free?  However, it is a gold mine for Revox/Studer users and students of the audio electronic arts!

Good point Chris. Many of these sites are either a one man project to share this information with like minded folks, or a companies commitment to supporting it's products long after they've been discontinued. Don't abuse these resources. It's a good idea to print a copy of any manuals that you need or find a good source for study instead of repeatedly downloading the files. If they ask for donations, throw them $10 or more, just so they know that someone's still interested and that their work isn't going unappreciated.
BTW, for some reason the link in your post wasn't working, but I added it to the Resources sticky and that one's working.

Steve, thanks for the link. I was able to download a copy of the Technics 1506 users manual, which I didn't have. Of course, Doc has modified it, so it doesn't quite work the same as the original (better, of course), but it was good to understand how the original works. Larry

Thanks Steve!  I finally figured out what to do to fix the above Studer ftp link, so it works now.  For students of the electronic arts interested in tube based tape electronics the C37 (1/4" half track sibling to the famous J37 used by the Beatles) Operations Service Manual is highly recommended.  Checkout the playback schematics for nice cascode design.
