That's a great thread! I just skimmed over it but I think it's worth saving to my bulging reel to reel folder (I gotta go through that thing and toss out duplicates and useless items).
There's nothing like seeing a machine all opened up like that to take the mystique out of doing a repair (kinda gets me all hot and stuff too!).
